Noah

Today I have a trailer. It's for a movie about Noah's Ark. I'm not really saying that it will be good or bad. Frankly, I'm just saying, "Hey look, this exists!" I do love the idea of Russell Crowe and Anthony Hopkins together. It just looks so dramatic! I don't even know it that's good or bad. I'm a bit stunned I think, that they even decided to make this movie. I mean, we all know exactly what happens. If they change anything, there will be angry people. If they stay true, I would think that it would be boring. I don't know how you can spice up 40 days and 40 nights of rain. I suppose they could have scenes of tension and cabin fever. Also, they seem to show a mob of people trying to get on the boat like it's going to be some great battle scene. Spoiler, they don't take the boat. It's not that exciting.  What do you think? Watch or skip? UPDATE: Would you like to know more about religious movies coming out this year? Check ...

Man of Steel ~ Neither Great Nor Terrible

Last night, a fantastic friend of mine dropped by my house and gave me some early viewing tickets to see 'Man of Steel'.  I felt like an absolute posh person walking past all the people in line for the midnight to go to my theatre at 7 p.m. You have to enjoy the little things in life right? Enough about me, on to the review! 'Man of Steel', as I'm sure you know, is yet another Superman origin story. Everyone is pretty well acquainted with the general idea of this story but they want to keep telling it to us! Well, they did an all right job. The plot wasn't bad but I wasn't invested either. The character development, I felt, was REALLY shallow. Because of this I was kinda 'meh' throughout the film. Visually, it was very explosive. I couldn't even begin to count how many massive fiery explosions there were. Honestly, it reminded me of the 'Trasnformers' movies because there were SO MANY fight scenes that were just swirling CGI fes...

Les Misérables

The time has come to review 'Les Misérables'! This movie is expansive and beautiful. It's a true  epic. As we all know, this 2012 version is a musical. Everyone has a different opinion of musicals and their  tastes vary greatly on the subject. This musical is the kind where they sing  everything . No, I don't mean they burst into song every few moments after a snippet of dialogue. I mean nearly every, single, word is in song. I found this complete musical immersion very enjoyable! That, paired with the fact that the songs were sung live by the actors, (as opposed to in a studio and lip syncing) made every moment heart-wrenchingly emotional. Watching the characters fight back violent sobbing to sing the songs of woe makes the whole thing more real and relatable. While we're on the topic of the music, every song was amazing! I didn't dislike a single one, which is rare for me. Every actor, Russell Crowe included, beautifully sang their songs while...
