A Little Step into My Head

Today I have two trailers to share! They both look good but one of them is really making me excited! I'm going to save the best for last and start with ' Mom's Night Out'. Here is the trailer. That looks like some good clean fun to me! I don't think it's going to be Earth shatteringly good, I think it will be enjoyable. A nice way to spend two hours after a long day. That's what that trailers says to me! The fact that is has both Sean Astin and Patricia Heaton also gives me a lot of faith in the movie! Hopefully, I'll be right! Now it's time for 'Ernest and Celestine'. This movie is hand drawn. That immediately caught my attention. It's absolutely gorgeous! Take a look! It looks so cute, creative, and heartwarming! I love it! I know it came out a few years ago in France and that it's nominated for an Oscar now. Sometimes I really wish the international release dates weren't so incredibly delayed! We should have acces...

All right everyone! It's time to watch the new Muppet trailer. Here we go! I guess he's the villain again! It looks great and fantastic and I can't wait! The previous Muppet movie, 'The Muppets', I despised. It was depressing and lame. This one looks like it has the right feel! That fabulous Muppet feeling is very hard to beat. I want to say one thing. If you aren't into Muppet movies, I am so sorry. Apparently your childhood was wrong. Hopefully, one day you will learn to love them! I just love Burrell for this character! The cast looks fantastic! In case you didn't recognize him, Tom Hiddleston was definitely in that trailer! The idea of Hiddleston in a Muppets movie makes me giggle. Naturally, there were far too many actors to mention them all by name but it looks like a great line-up. Except Galifianakis. I don't know why anyone let him withing twenty yards of a children's movie. Basically, I can't wait! Everything about...

Here I go again! Yesterday I popped down to the local theatre and watched the incredibly advertised 'Oz the Great and Powerful'! Walking in I was hopeful and optimistic, walking out I was underwhelmed and bored. Not a good transformation if you ask me! As is the case with some of these massive, expensive movies, I think they spent more time, effort, and/or money on the CGI than on the script. I will quit with the generalizations and dive into the details. Let's start with the story. A con-man magician called Oz rides a hot air balloon through a tornado into the magical world of Oz. Once there the people of the land mistake him for their prophesied wizard and send him on a quest to kill the wicked witch. If he kills the witch he will earn the crown of Oz, the massive king's share of the gold, and the loyalty of all the people. Oz decides to go for it, because he is super greedy, and starts out on a long, long, long adventure. Did I say long? Technically, the running ...

'Brave' and 'Bernie'! Two movies that are similar in no way. Except, of course, they both start with 'B' and they have both been nominated for awards this year. As I'm sure you can guess, I am very excited about awards season. I am developing a mild case of Oscar frenzy. I want my favorites to win! In preparation, naturally, I have been watching a lot of the movies I have seen pop up at the awards shows that have already happened. I would have gotten around to them eventually, but the timing is too good! First is 'Brave'! I have wanted to see this movie since the moment I heard is was going to exist. I love Disney-Pixar and their movies together. I'm a child at heart and I'm not sorry! Netflix took its sweet time getting 'Brave' sent to my mailbox but I finally saw it.  Boy was it more then I ever expected! I hadn't really looked into it that much. I saw the words Pixar and I knew I would watch it so there wasn't any reason ...
